This incredible cheese is very hard-to-get, seasonal blue cheese from Sue Miller, of Birchrun Hills Farm. It pays to be friends with the cheese maker, since gave me this from a first availble batch of their wonderful blue cheese that's been wrapped in brandy-soaked fig leaves!

As I painted this beauty, she flirted with me the whole time with the most tantalizing aroma. Once finished this portrait, I was finally able to have my first taste. Despite all the foreplay, I was not disappointed one bit!
