From the Cheese Portraits series.

This was a commission that I completely enjoyed revisiting. The patron was looking for something that recalled the shape in the first Bayley Hazen Blue portrait but I wanted this painting to have it's own personality. The color and "pose" differs slightly to better show off the thickness of the slice of goodness. It clearly represents a week's indulgence into one of my favorite blue cheeses.
