From the Cheese Portraits series.

This is the third cheese I've painted by Veronica Pedraza at Meadowood Farms in Cazenovia, NY. I had painted two others (Ledyard and Strawbridg) and she suggested to make it a trinity and sent me a wonderful box of their cheeses. Rippleton is made from sheep's milk and washed with "wort" (unfermented beer) and is deliciously meaty, slightly fruity and delicious.
