Here is a velvety smooth bloomy-rinded, sexy model that was lounging on some silky red cloth for this small cheese portrait. I had a delicious bit of this local brie given to me by cheesemaker Paul Lawler, at Cherry Grove Farm in New Jersey. I had to be concise and paint swiftly as the cheese was ever relaxing in the warm spring weather. This makes for a fun and painterly play day in the studio.
