This commission gave me a chance to return to a fun favorite subject, the baguette! This time I was able to paint one baked by a friend, Pete Merzbacher. Merzbacher's baked goods are a part of my daily routine and I'm so happy I can walk a couple blocks from my studio to pick up such a great model at nearby Riverwards Produce, in Fishtown. Life is good.
