From the Foodie series.

This oil pastel drawing is part of a popular series of "local food" drawings I made when I returned back to Philadelphia after school. The oil pastel on paper allowed me to build up the pigment, much like my painting style, when I still had no painting studio to work in. This is among one of my more popular images, as I am always visually in lust with a true Philadelphia Soft Pretzel.
