Yellow Springs Farm, just outside of Philadelphia, makes some wonderful cheeses. Ive been to the farm and met the owners as well as the goats. It's long overdue that I had a chance to paint one of their fine cheeses. This little gift of goat cheese heaven is something I had my eye on, since Madame Fromage first introduced it to me.
Here's what she writes about it : "Cloud Nine. The rumpled rind on this little bath bomb conceals a dense center of grassy goat cheese the consistency of marzipan. The smell is earthy and grassy, the taste sweetly tangy with just a hint of black pepper emanating from the rind."
