This small painting is long gone but I clearly recall how I did enjoy the color and shapes as I found myself subconsciously inspired after becoming aware of the Italian fashion designer , Emilio Pucci. You see, I painted this shortly after a friend scored a vintage dress with the most funky Pucci wavy oval pattern and when I sliced this hardboiled egg, it seemed obvious to use this background color and evoke that color and pattern. Im a virtually fashion ignorant, but this thing caught my imagination apparently; I didn't realize it though, until I stepped back from the finished painting.
