It's always a pleasure to paint one of my favorite subjects, Philadelphia Soft Pretzels. I havent visited this local food subject in years and when I picked some up from my local corner store, these were still (fresh baked) warm.

I had originally planned to paint 4. I compromised, as one does for art, and this is the result. I hope the half eaten pretzel conveys the struggle; the struggle is real.
