Best of Show 2nd Place – (Valley Shepherd Creamery's Crema de Blue) is one of the best ranked cheeses made in America in 2012.
I was commissioned to paint the top three awarded cheeses so that makes me perhaps one of less than a handful of people to even get their hands on these incredible cheeses. This blue cheese is almost local for me. It's made nearby in central NJ and I had the chef of their soon-to-open cheese shop/cafe/dairy deliver it in person. I cant wait to try more cheeses by this dairy since those that I have had so far are wonderful.
