Good friends recently brought this back from a vacation for me to paint it. They had the most flavorful experience and I'm glad they decided to share it with me - it's intensely delicious!
Red Dragon made in a traditional style in Wales, UK, is also known as Y-Fenni. This smooth, firm tasty Cheddar is made with Welsh brown ale and mustard seeds. Red Dragon is a buttery and spicy cheese with plenty of bite and is aged for 3 months, made from cow’s milk and is vegetarian.
I loved painting the mustard seeds (which was more challenging than I expected) and especially enjoyed translating the thick waxy rind.
