Ikura - Salmon Roe

Ikura (salmon roe) tops this gunkan-maki, rice is encircled with nori (seaweed).

I stopped in at Zama Restaurant in Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Sqaure. The management helped
ensure the chef would use the freshest roe and pack it to so the roll would make it home safely on my
commute home. It was really fun to paint these beautiful glowing globes, which has been on my mind
for several months now. Im happy that the image in my head since November is finally real.
