This here is a stack of heaven. Lost Bread Co. in my neighborhood makes this unique and wonderful magical balance of sweet and salty goodness. Alex Bois , boy wonder baker, invented (as far as I know) this shortbread cookie that's perfectly crunchy, crisp and crumbly and covered with a pretzel skin, salt and all. On their website (yes you can order these if you are not lucky enough to be local!) they describe them simply like this:
"Buttery, salty, sweet-savory, addictive & pretzelly AF." .... and I don't think it can be said any better.
