"Weathered Ax"

This is the second in a pair of cocktail commissions and a new drink for me to try. This cocktail was invented by bartender Danny Shapiro, of Scofflaw in Chicago, IL. As a bourbon based cocktail with lemon juice, Cocchi Americano, and ginger syrup it's considered a breezy summer drink garnished with mint, or transformed into a cozy winter punch when served with a sprig of rosemary.
